INJURY TO WATCH

Bruins right winger David Backes is serving a suspension and will miss today’s game. Defenseman Charlie McAvoy (knee) is out until early April. Center Patrice Bergeron (foot) is out until mid-March. For Chicago, left winger Vinnie Hinostroza (personal reasons) is questionable. Left winger Anthony Duclair (lower body) is out until late March. Goaltender Corey Crawford and defenseman Michal Rozsival are both out indefinitely with brain injuries.

BETTING STRATEGY

Boston trounced the Blackhawks 7-4 on its home ice Saturday and now the two squads have a quick turnaround with travel. It was the sixth straight win for the Bruins with three coming in overtime. Meanwhile, Chicago has lost three of four and six of its last 10. The Blackhawks are merely average at home with a 16-15-3-0 mark, while Boston is an excellent 18-8-2-2 in road games. The last 10 meetings are split down the middle at 5-5, but the Bruins have won the last two and are the much better team at this point. Take Boston to complete the two-day sweep.
