LINE MOVEMENT

Dallas opened as a -165 favorite before the line dipped slightly, while the total has remained at 5.5 goals. Shopping for the best price is always smart and you can find the Stars anywhere from a -150 to a -160 favorite, while the Ducks range from a +130 to a +146 underdog.

PUBLIC BETTING

As of Friday afternoon, 52 percent of public bets have been placed on the visiting Ducks. Online wager also states that 58 percent of bets are coming in on the over.

INJURY TO WATCH

Anaheim right winger Patrick Eaves is out indefinitely with an illness. For Dallas, defenseman Esa Lindell is probable with an illness. Center Radek Faksa is quesionable with a lower body injury. Goalie Ben Bishop is out with a knee injury, while center Martin Hanzal is out indefinitely with a back injury.

BETTING STRATEGY

The Ducks have won the last two meetings on their home ice 2-0, including this season on Feb. 21. The home team is 7-0 in the last seven meetings. I’m looking hard at the over as it has gone that way five of the last seven meetings in Dallas. The Stars generally have a high-powered offense, but have played three unders in a row. With the Ducks having played four overs in their last game, this seems like a juicy matchup for an over to hit. Expect enough goals tonight to get over the 5.5.
