Minnesota is 0-1-1 after a 5-4 shootout loss Saturday at the Hurricanes, while Chicago comes in at 3-0-1 following a 3-1 victory Tuesday at the Canadiens. The Blackhawks won three of the four meetings last season and the over-under was 3-0-1.

The Wild received goals from Mikko Koivu, Eric Staal, Chris Stewart and Jason Zucker in Saturday’s loss. Staal and Zucker also had an assist. Alex Stalock allowed four goals on 42 shots, while he also surrendered the lone score during the shootout to take the loss.

Chicago got a 41-save performance from Chris Crawford to win Tuesday’s game. Artem Anisimov, Alex DeBrincat and Brandon Saad scored the goals. DeBrincat also had an assist.

Bet on Wild vs. Blackhawks

The Wild have had plenty of time to freshen up and prepare for this game. They’ll be rolling out their No. 1 goalie, Devan Dubnyk, and have the structured approach to take down a powerful squad such as the Blackhawks. We like the Wild in this spot to earn their first win of the season.
