Are the host Minnesota Wild going to get the job done on their home ice tonight when they battle the Nashville Predators at 8PM ET?

According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, the Predators are listed as a -115 favorite to win on the moneyline. The Wild are a -105 underdog, while the over-under sits at 5.5 goals.

Nashville enters with a 22-9-1-4 record after a 2-1 victory Wednesday at the Blues. Minnesota is 19-15-2-1 following a 4-2 home win over the Stars on Wednesday. The Wild won the season’s first meeting 6-4 on their home ice back on Nov. 16. Minnesota has won four of six meetings since the start of last season. The over is 4-1-1.

The Predators received goals from Calle Jarnkrok and Craig Smith in the win at St. Louis. Pekka Rinne turned away 29 of 30 shots sent his way. Jarnkrok made it a 2-0 game early in the second period, while Nashville held on in the third period after a goal by the hosts.

In the victory over Dallas, Mikael Granlund and Jason Zucker led the way with a goal and an assists apiece. Jared Spurgeon and Eric Staal both had a goal. Charlie Coyle dished out two assists. Alex Stalock recorded 24 saves on 26 shots to pick up the victory. Granlund broke a 2-2 tie with a goal at the 6:52 mark of the second period, while Zucker added his 15th goal in the third period for insurance.

The over is 17-7-4 in the last 28 meetings in Minnesota. Nashville is 5-1 in its last six road games.
