KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) -Chiefs safety Jarrad Page has practiced for the first time all week but left tackle Brandon Albert was held out another day and may not be ready for Kansas City’s game at the Washington Redskins.
Coach Todd Haley said on Friday that Albert was making progress and that he was not ready to rule him out. Page has been battling a shoulder injury.
Albert has been wearing a boot on his left ankle since he was hurt in the second half of last week’s loss to Dallas.
Albert was replaced in the Dallas game by Wade Smith, a journeyman backup who performed well in a last-minute, 74-yard touchdown drive that enabled the Chiefs to send the game into overtime.
