Tkachuk scores power-play goal on four shots
Matthew Tkachuk scored a power-play goal on four shots in Monday’s 6-5 win over the Oilers. Tkachuk followed up a run of 15 points over six games with three straight scoreless outings, in which the team scored a total of two goals. The Panthers’ offense came back to life Monday, and Tkachuk contributed a goal late in the first period to help the cause. The winger is up to 11 tallies, 20 assists, 13 power-play points, 78 shots on net, 46 hits and 22 PIM through 27 appearances this season.
Fleury to start in net on Wednesday
Marc-Andre Fleury will defend the cage at home against the Panthers on Wednesday, Jessi Pierce of NHL.com reports. While Fleury appeared in just seven of the Wild’s first 28 games this season, he may have to take on a bigger role with Filip Gustavsson (lower body) sidelined. In his last five outings, the Flower is 3-1-0 with a 2.33 GAA and a .915 save percentage. In addition to starting Wednesday, Fleury should feature in one of the Wild’s back-to-back games either Friday or Saturday against Utah or Winnipeg, respectively.

Panthers vs. Wild Betting Prediction
Take Florida. The Wild has won three straight games against the Panthers but Florida is coming off a 6-5 victory at Edmonton that snapped a two-game slide. Even with those back-to-back losses, the Panthers are still 7-2-1 over their last 10 games. I think they’ll use that win over Edmonton to build some momentum heading into tonight’s game.
Panthers vs. Wild Prediction: Florida Panthers -135
