Crosby another multi-point effort

Sidney Crosby recorded a goal and an assist in Monday’s 5-1 win over the Kings. Crosby has been very productive since the beginning of January, posting 10 points (three goals, seven assists) across 10 games. That brings him up to 13 goals and 51 points in 49 outings overall. While he probably will fall short of the 100-point plateau, he might still be able to reach the 90-point mark for the third campaign in a row. Even if he falls shy of that milestone, his productivity has been outstanding given that this is his age-37 season.

Terry logs power-play helper

Troy Terry notched a power-play assist and two blocked shots in Tuesday’s 5-2 loss to the Panthers. Terry has two points over four contests since rejoining the Ducks following a personal absence. The 27-year-old set up Frank Vatrano on the opening goal in the first period. For the season, Terry is up to 15 goals, 20 helpers, 111 shots on net, eight power-play points and a minus-1 rating over 43 appearances. He remains one of the Ducks’ most consistent scorers, but he won’t add much outside of offense.

Penguins vs. Ducks Betting Prediction

Take Pittsburgh. The Penguins won the first meeting between these two teams 2-1 in overtime back in October. They’ve also won six out of their previous seven meetings with the Ducks and eight out of their last 10 games against Anaheim.  While certainly not on a tear, the Pens have won two out of their last three games entering play tonight. They just beat the Kings 5-1 in L.A., where the Kings have been dominant this season. On the other side, the Ducks have lost four straight games and eight out of their last 10 overall.
