Penguins vs. Panthers Saturday Prediction
The Penguins head to Florida on Saturday night where they’ll visit the Panthers at 7:00 p.m. ET. With the total sitting at 6.5 goals, will these two teams combine for enough scores to push that number over for bettors?

Pittsburgh Penguins Fantasy Spin
Matt Murray allowed three goals on 28 shots in Thursday’s 4-2 loss to the Tampa Bay Lightning. Murray didn’t come away with a victory tonight, but he made several key saves to keep his team in the game against a potent opponent. This is the Pens netminder’s first loss since Dec. 21. Murray owns a 16-7-4 record this season. He’s started back-to-back games for the Penguins and four of their last six. That’s significant considering Tristan Jarry wrestled the starting gig away from him not too long ago
Florida Panthers Fantasy Spin
Sergei Bobrovsky was pulled during Thursday’s 7-2 loss to the Vegas Golden Knights. Bobrovsky gave up six goals on 29 shots in almost 49 minutes of action. The Russian netminder allowed three goals on five shots in the third period when he got the hook. The 31-year-old has given up at least three goals in five of his last six outings. Bobrovsky owns a 20-14-5 record this season. The Panthers will need their franchise goalie to step up if they’re going to secure a playoff spot in the second half of the year. Sam Montembeault, who entered the game in relief of Bobrovsky, allowed one more goal on 10 shots.
NHL Betting Prediction
The under is 5-0 in the last five meetings between these two teams but I like these squads to get over that 6.5-goal number tonight. The over is 7-1-1 in the Penguins’ last nine games when facing an opponent with a winning record and is 5-2 in their last seven games when playing on only one day of rest. On the other side, the over is a perfect 6-0 in the Panthers’ last six games coming off a loss of three or more goals, is 8-3 in their last 11 games overall and is 5-2 in their last seven games as an underdog.
Saturday NHL Prediction: Penguins/Panthers OVER 6.5
