His teammates certainly helped matters, building up a 4-0 lead into the third period before Arizona finally snapped the shutout attempt on a goal by Jakob Chychrun with under seven minutes remaining in regulation. Since allowing six goals against Winnipeg near the end of October, Saros has locked in to allow 12 goals over his last seven starts — he has not given up more than two goals in a contest during that stretch. The Predators will meet up with the Maple Leafs on Tuesday, when they next take to the ice.

Jack Campbell stopped 30 of 31 shots in Friday’s 2-1 overtime win against the Calgary Flames Campbell was beat on a beautiful goal by Oliver Kylington in the early stages of the second period but was otherwise perfect on the evening. The 29-year-old made some beautiful saves on Andrew Magiapane and Dillion Dube in the third period to keep the game knotted up to force overtime. Campbell has won six of his last seven starts and owns an 8-3-1 record with a stellar 1.82 goals-against average and .939 save percentage.

The underdog has cashed in five of the previous seven meetings between these two teams while the road team is 9-4 in the last 13 meetings. The Preds are also 6-1 in their last seven games as an underdog, are 8-2 in their last 10 games overall and are 5-1 in their last six games as a road pup.
