Igor Shesterkin is expected to start in Game 4 on Monday night against Pittsburgh. Shesterkin got the hook in Game 3 on Saturday after one period. He allowed four goals on 15 shots in the contest and coach Gerard Gallant is looking for a bounce-back performance on Monday. “I expect him to be outstanding,” Gallant said on Sunday. “It’s a one-off for me.” Shesterkin has a 1-1 record with a 3.23 GAA and .928 SV% in three matches during the 2022 Stanley Cup Playoffs.

Tristan Jarry (lower body) didn’t skate on Sunday because it was a day off for him, per coach Mike Sullivan. It sounds like Jarry is still going through his rehab process. He was on the ice prior to Saturday’s optional morning skate for the first time since he suffered a suspected broken foot back. Jarry hasn’t played since Apr. 14.
