SAN JOSE, CA (TheSpread) – Two rivals look to get back on the right track tonight when the San Jose Sharks host the Vancouver Canucks at 10PM ET.

San Jose is 19-12-5 on the season and 10-4-2 at home while Vancouver is 20-11-3 overall and 11-6-2 on the road. The road team has won the last four meetings between these two, including a meeting back on Nov. 6, when Vancouver won 3-2. The Sharks have actually won eight of the last 10 overall meetings dating back to the 2013 playoffs. These two have scored five goals or less in four of their last five meetings.

According to oddsmakers at BetDSI, the Sharks are favored to win tonight’s game, as San Jose is getting odds of -140 to win the contest, while the Canucks are getting a money line of +120 to win. The over/under total for the game has been set at 5 goals.

Vancouver has been struggling recently, as the Canucks have lost six of their last eight games, including a 2-1 OT game to Anaheim on Sunday. The Canucks have hit the under in three of their last four. San Jose has lost two straight, but had won seven of their last eight prior to that. The Sharks have won six straight at home and they have pushed or hit the under in seven of their last nine.
