Georgiev tagged with another loss

Alexandar Georgiev surrendered four goals on 31 shots in Saturday’s 4-1 loss to the Islanders. This game appeared to be trending toward a low-scoring affair after the opening stanza, but the Islanders blitzed Georgiev for three goals in the middle frame. He conceded all four tallies at even strength. The 28-year-old has allowed 15 goals on 159 shots (.906 save percentage) through five appearances in January, going 1-4-0 in that span. Georgiev’s won just two of 10 starts with San Jose since being acquired in a trade from Colorado on Dec. 9. Overall, he has a 10-15-0 record, .880 save percentage and 3.45 GAA split between both clubs in 2024-25.

Pastrnak scores goal, adds two assists

David Pastrnak scored a goal and added two assists, one on the power play, in Saturday’s 6-5 shootout loss to the Senators. He had a hand in Boston’s first three goals in the back-and-forth affair, but Pastrnak came up short in the shootout. The 28-year-old superstar has reeled off three straight three-point performances, and since the calendar flipped to 2025, he’s erupted for eight goals and 14 points in the last eight contests.

Sharks vs. Bruins Betting Prediction

Take the under. In the last 10 meetings between these teams, two things have happened consistently: Boston has won and the under has cashed. The Bruins are 10-0 in their last 10 games versus the Sharks, while the under is 7-2-1 over that same span. On the other side, the under cashed in nine out of San Jose’s last 10 games. On the other side, the Bruins are on a three-game over streak but they’re due for a down game offensively. They’ve scored 15 goals in their last three games.

Sharks vs. Bruins Prediction: UNDER 6
