The field for the 2016 Stanley Cup Playoffs are set. Here is a look at the odds to win the championship.
According to oddsmakers at BetDSI, the Washington Capitals are 7/2 favorites to win the tournament this year. Other short odds are the Chicago Blackhawks (13/2) and the Pittsburgh Penguins (15/2). The Ducks, Stars and Kings all have 8/1 odds to win.
The Capitals had the top record in the NHL this season, going 56-18-8 for 120 points. The Capitals have never won the Stanley Cup in franchise history and only competed in the Finals once, back in 1998.
The Penguins were 48-26-8 this season for 104 points, second most in the Eastern Conference. Pittsburgh has won the Stanley Cup three times, last doing so in 2009.

Chicago was 47-26-9 on the season for 103 points. They had the third-best record in the Western Conference. The Blackhawks have won the Stanley Cup six times and are the defending champions.
