According to oddsmakers at BetDSI, Pekka Rinne is favored to win the MVP of the Stanley Cup Final, as the Nashville goalie has +180 odds. Other short odds to win are Sidney Crosby of Pittsburgh (+250) and Evgeni Malkin (+325).

Rinne has been the leader for the Predators in the postseason. Rinne has stopped 94.1 percent of the shots he has faced in the playoffs and has a GAA of 1.70. He has two shutouts and six 1-goal allowed contests. Rinne is making his first appearance in the Stanley Cup Final.
Crosby is the face of the Pittsburgh Penguins. The captain has put up seven goals and 13 assists in the postseason, giving him a total of 20 points. He has recorded at least one point in 13 of the 18 games Pittsburgh has had in the playoffs. Crosby won the Conn Smythe last year when he led the Penguins to the Cup.
Evgeni Malkin has led the Penguins in points during this postseason run. The center for Pittsburgh has seven goals and 17 assists for a total of 24 points in the playoffs. Malkin had somewhat of a quiet conference finals, as he failed to record a point in three of the seven games. He also has recorded at least one point in 13 of 18 playoff games. Malkin already earned this trophy as well, taking the title in 2009.
