Game 2 of the Western Conference finals is set for 8:00 p.m. ET when the Golden Knights attempt to even their series with the Stars. Will Vegas bounce back with a victory or will Dallas take a 2-0 series lead with another upset tonight?

Anton Khudobin stopped all 25 shots he faced in Sunday’s 1-0 Game 1 win over the Vegas Golden Knights. Khudobin was sharp tonight, particularly with his rebound control, as he limited Vegas’ second chance opportunities. It’s incredible the Stars have made it all the way to the Western Conference Final without a healthy Ben Bishop but Khudobin continues his great play. Khudobin will see his record improve to 9-5 since the restart and even if this Playoff run doesn’t end with a Stanley Cup, the 34-year-old netminder will likely be an in-demand goaltender come free-agency.
Vegas Golden Knights DFS Spin
Max Pacioretty has now gone four straight games without a goal. The malaise has spread to the entire Vegas offense as the Golden Knights have scored only four times in their last four contests, two into the empty net. Pacioretty has five goals and seven points in 12 playoff games after scoring 32 and adding 34 assists in the regular season. The Golden Knights need Pacioretty and company to get going or they will be in big trouble against a tough Dallas squad.
Stars vs. Golden Knights Game 2 Betting Prediction
I took the loss in Game 1 of this series by backing the Golden Knights on the puck line and they lost outright 1-0 as the favorite. The Stars reverted back to their former style of playing defensive minded and it worked to perfection. They were relentless on the forecheck and created a lot of offense from their sound defensive structure. They took plenty of quality shots and held the Knights in check throughout. If the structure looks familiar, it’s because it’s a similar concept to the one the Blues used to win the Stanley Cup last season. Until Vegas proves that it can make adjustments, I’m going to back Dallas and take the plus odds.
