Jamie Benn has really upped his game in the Stanley Cup playoffs. Benn has 13 points in his last 11 games, including the game-winner Saturday night. “His game, his leadership has just gone up another level in the playoffs, from what I’ve seen,” teammate Joe Pavelski said. “What I like about him, he’s been very direct. When he has the puck, you have an idea of where it’s going. He’s been shooting it, he wants it and you can see that. That’s something that this time of year, that’s what’s productive. There’s not a lot of guessing what you’re going to do or hope plays out there. He’s been very direct and hard and that’s good to see.” Benn has 17 points in 20 games in the post-season, including seven goals.
Vegas Golden Knights DFS Spin
Coach Peter DeBoer didn’t provide injury updates on Sunday. Mark Stone temporarily left Saturday’s Game 4 loss to Dallas after blocking a shot with his foot. He managed to return and finish the contest, but appeared to be in some discomfort. Stone has seven goals and 17 points in 19 games this postseason. The Golden Knights will need him in the lineup on Monday, as the team attempts to force a Game 6 in the best-of-seven series. The Stars can advance to the Stanley Cup Final with one more win.
Golden Knights vs. Stars Game 5 Betting Prediction
The Stars should advance to the Stanley Cup Final, but I don’t believe it’ll be tonight. The Golden Knights are still 23-9 in their last 32 games despite falling behind 3-1 in this series and they’re 11-3 in their last 14 games when their opponent allows two goals or less in their previous contest. They’re also 16-6 in their last 22 games when facing an opponent with a winning record, whereas the Stars are just 3-8 in their last 11 games after allowing two goals or less in their previous game. Dallas’ defense has been stellar in this series, but I see Vegas playing with a ton of urgency tonight and forcing a Game 6.
