Alexander Radulov stretched his point streak to four straight games on Saturday night in Game 1 of the Stanley Cup Final. Radulov picked up an assist against Tampa Bay in a 4-1 win. He has one goal and three helpers during his current scoring spree. Radulov has eight goals and 15 points in 22 matches this postseason.

Steven Stamkos is “inching his way closer,” according to coach Jon Cooper, and the team is “hopeful” that he can play at some point in the Stanley Cup Final. However, Cooper added that “we don’t even know if that’s going to happen,” so there’s no guarantee. He said this after he was asked if there was a chance that Stamkos could play in Game 2 against Dallas on Monday night. “I guess there’s always a chance, but as of now I don’t think so,” said the Lightning bench boss. “That’s why you’ve got to tune in to find out.” It doesn’t sound like Stamkos will be available for Game 2, but he appears to be improving. He was on the ice for the team’s morning skate prior to the series opener on Saturday.
Stars vs. Lightning Game 2 Stanley Cup Final Betting Prediction
Anton Khudobin saved the Stars in Game 1, allowing just one goal on 36 shots in Dallas’ 4-1 victory and perhaps he’ll accomplish a similar feat again tonight. That said, the Lightning still got off 36 shots and if Khudobin doesn’t have the same performance, tonight’s game will be a blowout in favor of Tampa. Despite the win, the Stars are still just 2-5 in their last five meetings versus the Lightning, who are 75-31 in their last 106 games playing on one day of rest. They’re also 35-16 in their last 51 games when favored and have cashed for bettors in nine of their last 13 postseason games when favored. Lightning even the series tonight with a “W.”
