Tuesday Cross-Sport Parlay: LSU, Clippers & a Winter Classic Over?

Tuesday Cross-Sport Parlay Tuesday Cross-Sport Parlay

Will LSU cover as a 3.5-point underdog versus Baylor in the Texas Bowl? Will the Clippers end the Spurs’ ATS streak? And can the Blues and Blackhawks light up the scoreboard in tonight’s Winter Classic from Wrigley Field? Read on for our Tuesday Cross-Sport Parlay.

Monday Cross-Sport Parlay Recap

My Cross-Sport Parlay for Monday was busted immediately. Iowa returned a kickoff for a touchdown in the first quarter of the Hawkeyes’ bowl matchup against Missouri to push the score in the first half over the total. Not that it mattered. The Jets only scored three goals against the Predators when I had the over 3.5 on Winnipeg’s team total. The over also hit in last night’s TCU-Arizona college hoops matchup.

Out of the five legs of yesterday’s parlay, I only hit two: Bulls (-5) over the Hornets and the over on the 49ers’ team total of 23.5 against the Lions. Even if I don’t cash the parlay, my goal is to at least hit more legs than I miss. Time for me to rebound.

CFB Tuesday Cross-Sport Parlay: LSU Tigers +3.5 (-112), 3:30 p.m. ET

LSU is dealing with a handful of opt-outs and players skipping this game to prepare for the NFL draft. However, Brian Kelly and his coaching staff had several weeks to prepare backups – and future starters, mind you – for this game. With Nussmeier playing, the Tigers will have the focal point of their offense in uniform.

As for Baylor, I see the appeal. I really do. The Bears finished with six consecutive wins, they don’t have to worry about opt-outs like LSU does and BU is loaded offensively. That said, I think we’re giving too much credit to the Bears for having a solid season in a down conference and we’re slamming the Tigers for having an okay season in a stacked SEC.

Essentially, LSU failed to meet preseason expectations, while Baylor exceeded expectations. That doesn’t mean the Bears are suddenly 3.5 points better than the Tigers on neutral grass.

CBB Tuesday Cross-Sport Parlay: Notre Dame/Georgia Tech over 143.5 (-105), 2:30 p.m. ET

In the last 10 meetings between these two teams, the over is 9-1. These are two of the weaker defensive teams in the ACC. Granted, the Fighting Irish and the Yellow Jackets aren’t exactly posting eye-popping offensive metrics either, but both teams should get on track today.

NHL Tuesday Cross-Sport Parlay Prediction: Blues-Blackhawks over 5.5 (-104), 5:10 p.m. ET

Blues goaltender Jordan Binnington is in a massive funk. He often saves his best performances for the biggest games, so perhaps he’ll show up tonight at Wrigley Field and put on a show. That said, an .895 save percentage speaks for itself. He hasn’t been good.

Meanwhile, the Blackhawks have dropped four straight games. During this skid, they’ve allowed every opponent to score at least four goals. Two opponents, the Sabres and Flames, scored six goals. Thus, whether Chicago’s goal prevention is atrocious or Binnington struggles, we’re covered either way on the over today at Wrigley Field.

NBA Tuesday Cross-Sport Parlay: Los Angeles Clippers +4.5 (-110), 7:10 p.m. ET

The Clippers have won eight out of their last 10 meetings with the Spurs straight up and covered in six out of those four games. L.A. is also hot. The Clippers have won five out of their last six games straight up and are 4-2 against the number over that span. One of those wins came in Memphis as a 6-point underdog.

As for the Spurs, they’ve dropped three out of their last four games enter play tonight. They are on a six-game ATS winning streak, but they were favored by at least 4.5 in only two of those games. They’re used to being an underdog.

4-Leg Cross-Sport Parlay Odds: +1283 (Fanduel Sportsbook)
