According to oddsmakers from online sports book BetDSI, the Sharks are -275 money line favorites versus the Canucks, who are +225 money line underdogs to pull off the significant underdog. San Jose is also -1.5 (+110) on the puckline while Vancouver is +1.5 (-130).
Bet Tonight’s Canucks vs. Sharks Game
Ryan Miller is expected to start tonight for the Canucks. He has dropped each of his last four decisions but stopped 29 of 32 shots in a 3-2 loss to the Blackhawks last Sunday. Despite Vancouver’s struggles of late, Miller has kept the Canucks in most games that he starts.

On the other side, Martin Jones will play tonight for the Sharks, who have rotated goaltenders of late. Jones has a 2.25 GAA and a .919 save percentage in 62 contests this season. In his last start, he was solid against the Kings in a 5-2 win on Monday. He made 30 saves to improve his record to 36-21-4 with a 2.25 GAA on the season.
For whatever reason, the Canucks have played well in San Jose in previous meetings between these two teams. Vancouver is 5-0 in its last five road games versus San Jose and the road team has won 19 of the last 26 meetings between these two teams. The Sharks should win tonight but the Canucks are worth a flier on the puckline.
