Victor Rask picked up three assists in Wednesday’s 8-3 rout of the Colorado Avalanche. Rask ended up with a blocked shot in 14:12 of ice time across 17 shifts while winning five of his 11 faceoff opportunities. It was his first multi-point performance since Feb. 22 in San Jose when he had a goal and two assists. He had managed two goals and just one assist across his past 19 games, so don’t go out and add him in fantasy leagues based upon just this one strong showing.

Vladimir Tarasenko notched his third goal of the season in Wednesday’s 3-1 win against the Vegas Golden Knights. Tarasenko erupted for an even-strength goal just 48 seconds into the game with helpers to Jaden Schwartz and Vince Dunn, setting the tone early. The Blues added one from Sammy Blais at 7:21 of the first, and ended up leading this one wire to wire. It’s been a slow start for Tarasenko after his return from injury, but he remains a must-have fantasy option for his potential to pick up points in bunches.
