Minnesota Wild DFS SPIN
Joel Eriksson Ek (undisclosed) hasn’t resumed skating yet and is still being evaluated, Jessi Pierce of NHL.com reports. Eriksson Ek sat out Sunday’s 3-2 loss to the Stars in Game 4 after logging just one shift in Game 3 on Friday. It still hasn’t been determined yet if he will accompany the Wild to Dallas for Tuesday’s Game 5 matchup. If Eriksson Ek remains unavailable, Sam Steel could center the second line again.
Dallas Stars DFS SPIN
Joe Pavelski (concussion) has resumed skating but remains unavailable to return to the lineup ahead of Game 5 against Minnesota on Tuesday, Saad Yousuf of The Athletic reports. Pavelski started skating on his own while the Stars were in Minnesota for Games 3 and 4. He was on the ice again Monday with some of Dallas’ scratches. Pavelski’s progress is being monitored daily, as he works to check the boxes to return from concussion protocol. He picked up an assist and logged 10:08 of ice time in the Stars’ playoff opener April 17 prior to getting injured.
