Buffalo ended a 10-game winless skid by pounding Atlanta 10-1 on Friday night. The Sabres came within two games of tying a franchise-record 12-game winless stretch set in 1991 and matched in 2002. Buffalo scored its most goals this season after producing just 16 times during the winless stretch.
