BOSTON (AP) -Toronto center Mats Sundin played his 1,300th career game in Thursday night’s 8-2 win over the Bruins , becoming the 46th player in NHL history to reach that mark.
He scored his 30th goal of the season and 553rd of his career, four behind former Bruin Johnny Bucyk for 21st all time.
Sundin, in his 17th season – 13th with Toronto – is the Maple Leafs’ career leader in goals with 418.
