BUFFALO, N.Y. (AP) -The Buffalo Sabres re-signed forward Daniel Paille on Thursday.
The 23-year-old Paille accepted the Sabres $585,200 qualifying offer. He had three goals and 11 points in 29 games last season, but missed 15 games after breaking a finger on Feb. 20 against Philadelphia.
Buffalo’s first-round pick in 2002 has 14 points in 43 career NHL games.
Center Derek Roy and defenseman Nathan Paetsch are the Sabres’ last two players who have yet to sign. Both players have elected to go to arbitration. Roy’s hearing is scheduled for July 27. Paetsch’s is planned for Aug. 2.
