Bengals quarterback A.J. McCarron is expected to be fine for Week 17’s matchup with the Ravens on Sunday.
McCarron suffered a wrist injury while attempting to recover a fumble on the final play of the Bengals’ loss to the Broncos in overtime on Monday night. He had a MRI on the wrist and was diagnosed with a strain on his non-throwing wrist.
The key is that he didn’t suffer a fracture and should be fine for Sunday. In fact, he participated in a walkthrough on Wednesday and wasn’t limited in practice. Assuming he doesn’t suffer a setback between now and Sunday’s 1:00PM ET kickoff, Cincinnati should have McCarron under center versus Baltimore.
According to oddsmakers from online sports book Mybookie.ag, the Bengals are 7.5-point home favorites versus the 5-10 Ravens. Even though Baltimore is coming off an outright victory as a 10-point home underdog last Sunday versus Pittsburgh, the Ravens are 4-9-2 against the spread this year.
Along with Dallas, Miami and Tennessee, Baltimore has been one of the least profitable teams at the betting window in 2015.
