The Cardinals will look to salvage just one of four games versus the Reds when they send Michael Wacha to the mound today in Cincinnati at 1:10PM ET.
According to oddsmakers from online sports book BetDSI, the Cardinals are -140 money line favorites to beat the Reds, who have odds of +120 to pull off the upset. As for the total, it currently sits at 7.5 runs.
The Cardinals are a perfect 4-0 in Wacha’s last four starts versus the Reds but they’re just 2-6 in their last eight games overall versus Cincinnati. The Cards are also 12-3 in Wacha’s last 15 road starts, 21-7 in his last 28 starts overall and 9-1 in his last 10 starts within the division.
On the other side, the Reds are just 1-4 in Raisel Iglesias’ last five home starts and 1-4 in his last five starts overall. They’re also winless at 0-9 in their last nine games during Game 4 of a series and 2-7 in their last nine after scoring five runs or more in their previous game.
