According to oddsmakers from online sports book BetDSI, Xavier is a 9.5-point home favorite versus Creighton while the over/under is currently sitting at 155 points. (Compare college basketball lines from multiple sports books.)
Creighton expects to have point guard Maurice Watson available today when the Bluejays finish their regular season. Watson pulled a groin muscle in the first half of Wednesday’s loss at Providence but he came back to play in the second half and sat out practice on Thursday so he should be rested.

But Creighton faces a daunting task in trying to take down Xavier. The Muskteeers are in a revenge spot after the Bluejays upset them a month ago in Omaha. It’s also Senior Day for Xavier, which has had a week to stew over its loss to Seton Hall. That’s not a good recipe for a Creighton squad just looking to run out the clock on the rest of its season.
The Musketeers are 4-1 against the spread in their last five games overall and the home team has covered in eight of the last 10 meetings between these two teams.
