(The Spread) – Which player will score the first touchdown in tonight’s Monday Night Football matchup between the Dolphins and Jets?
Oddsmakers currently list Jets’ running back Shonn Greene as a 5/1 favorite to score first, although Dolphins’ rookie runner Daniel Thomas has the next best odds at 6/1. New York wide receiver Santonio Holmes is 7/1 while Miami wideout Brandon Marshall and Jets’ tight end Dustin Keller are both 8/1, respectively.
The two quarterbacks are long shots to score the first touchdown in tonight’s game, with Miami’s Matt Moore listed at 25/1 and New York’s Mark Sanchez listed at 18/1. In fact, Moore has the worst odds of any of the players listed.

Reggie Bush is 10/1 to score first, as is Plaxico Burress. Miami tight end Anthony Fasano is 12/1 to score the first touchdown while New York running back LaDainian Tomlinson is 9/1. Dolphins’ receiver Brian Hartline is 16/1 and Davone Bess is 14/1.
For reference sake, Chad Henne (who is out for the year with an injury) was the first Dolphin to score in Week 1, while Marshall was the first Dolphin to score in Week 2, Thomas was the first Dolphin to score in Week 3, and Lex Hilliard was the first Dolphin to score in Week 4. The first Jet to score in their first four games were as follows: Keller (Week 1), Holmes (Week 2), Sanchez (Week 3), Joe McKnight (Week 4), and Greene (Week 5).
