Following their bye in Week 10, the Falcons will be back in action this Sunday when they host the Colts at 1:00PM ET. Atlanta has been horrible at the betting window of late.
The Falcons’ winless ATS streak reached five games two weeks ago when they failed to cover as a 7.5-point road favorite in a 17-16 loss to the 49ers in Santa Clara. In all five of their ATS losses, the Falcons were favored by at least a field goal. Twice they were favored by over a touchdown and failed to cover.
Since Atlanta’s last playoff run in 2012, the Falcons are 2-9-1 against the spread as a home favorite. Yet they’ll find themselves listed as a home favorite again this Sunday when they take on the Colts, who are currently a 5.5-point underdog according to oddsmakers from online sports book Mybookie.ag.
After facing Blaine Gabbert two weeks ago, Atlanta will take on another backup quarterback when Matt Hasselbeck starts for the injured Andrew Luck.
