PITTSBURGH, PA (The Spread) – The Dodgers probably can’t wait to get out of Pittsburgh based on recent trends, but they’ll visit the Pirates again tonight at 8:08PM ET for ESPN Sunday Night Baseball.
According to oddsmakers from online sports book GT Bets, the Dodgers are -120 money line favorites versus the Pirates, who are +100 money line home underdogs for tonight’s game. With Alex Wood set to face Charlie Morton in the pitching matchup, the under currently sits at 7.5 runs after opening at 8.
The Dodgers are winless at 0-4 in their last four games in Pittsburgh after losing again yesterday. They’re also winless at 0-4 in their last four road games versus a team with a winning record and are now 2-5 in their last seven road games overall.
On the other side, the Pirates are 13-3 in their last 16 games versus the NL West and 8-2 in their last 10 home games versus a left-handed starter. They’re also a perfect 5-0 in their last five games after allowing five runs or more in their previous game and 21-8 in their last 29 games versus a team with a winning record.
