The Cardinals will look to bounce back from their opening-series loss to the Pirates on Friday night when they host their division rivals again today at 4:05PM ET.
According to oddsmakers from online sports book GT Bets, the Cardinals are -141 money line favorites to beat the Pirates, who have odds of +131 to pull off the upset. The total is sitting at 7.5 runs with Charlie Morton set to take on Jaime Garcia in the pitching matchup.
The Pirates are 1-10 in Morton’s last 11 starts versus the Cardinals and winless at 0-5 in his last five road starts versus St. Louis. Pittsburgh is also just 17-37 in its last 54 games in St. Louis despite beating the Cardinals 9-4 on Friday in the city by the Arch.
