LOS ANGELES, CA (The Spread) – American League West rivals clash tonight in L.A. when the Angels host the Rangers at 9:05PM ET.

Although it would be a steep price for bettors, the Angels are a rock solid bet tonight with Jered Weaver on the mound. That’s because the Halos are a perfect 12-0 in Weaver’s last 12 home starts versus the Rangers, who are 1-4 in Colby Lewis’ last five starts versus the Angels and 3-13 in their last 16 games overall versus L.A. The Angels are also 6-2 in Weaver’s last eight starts overall versus the Rangers.

They’re also 2-5 in Lewis’ last seven starts, 3-8 in his last 11 starts versus a team with a winning record and 2-5 in his last seven starts after scoring five runs or more in their previous game.
