According to oddsmakers from online sports book BetDSI, the A’s are -120 money line favorites versus the Angels, who are +111 money line home underdogs. The total for this 9:05PM ET start time is currently sitting at 8 runs.
The A’s are 1-5 now in their last six games in Los Angeles and 2-8 in their last 10 road games. They’re also 2-8 in their last 10 games versus a team with a winning record, 2-8 in their last 10 road games with the total set between 7 and 8.5 runs and 2-6 in their last eight during Game 3 of a series.
On the other side, the Angels are 5-1 in their last six home games versus right-handed starter, 11-3 in their last 14 games during Game 3 of a series and 21-6 in their last 27 games versus AL West rivals. They’re also 43-20 in their last 63 games overall, 35-17 in their last 52 Saturday games, and 36-15 in their last 51 games versus a right-handed starter.
Jeff Samardzija will take the hill for Oakland tonight sporting a 6-10 record with a 3.23 ERA, while the Angels will counter with Cory Rasmus, who is 3-1 with a 2.68 ERA.
