SEATTLE, WA (The Spread) – With their season on the brink, the Mariners will take on division rival the Angels tonight at 10:10PM ET.
According to oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv, the Mariners are -122 money line favorites over the Angels, who are +113 money line underdogs. The total, meanwhile, is currently sitting at 6.5 runs.
The Mariners are 4-0 in Hisashi Iwakuma’s last four home starts versus the Angels and 6-2 in his last eight starts overall versus the Halos. They’re also 6-1 in their last seven games on Friday, 4-1 in their last five games with the total set at 6.5 runs or lower, and 6-2 in Iwakuma’s last eight starts as a favorite.
The Angels, meanwhile, are 1-4 in their last five games with the total set at 6.5 runs or lower, 0-5 in their last five games when their opponent allows five runs or more in their previous game and 0-4 in their lsat four games after scoring five runs or more in their previous game. They’re also 4-10 in Jered Weaver’s last 14 starts as an underdog of +110 to +150 and 3-10 in his last 13 starts as a road underdog of between +110 to +150.
