CINCINNATI, OH (The Spread) – The Reds host the Nationals today in Cincinnati and with Johnny Cueto on the mound, the home team figures to have the advantage.
According to oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv, the Reds are -123 money line home favorites over the Nationals, who are +114 money line road underdogs. The total, meanwhile, is sitting at 7 runs for this 4:05PM ET start time.
In what is shaping up to be a pitchers’ duel, the Nationals will start Gio Gonzalez versus the Reds’ Cueto. Gonzalez is 6-5 with a 3.74 ERA on the year and is 2-0 with a 1.00 ERA in four starts against the Reds, while Cueto is 10-6 with a 2.18 ERA and is 5-3 with a 4.58 ERA in nine starts against Washington.

The Nationals are 1-4 in Gonzalez’s last five starts as an underdog, 1-4 in his lat five starts as a road underdog and 2-5 in his lat seven starts on Saturday.
