MLB Odds & Trends: Giants 2-12 in last 12 games vs. A’s in Oakland

Two of the so-called Big Three for the Oakland A’s will square off at 4:05PM ET today when Tim Hudson of the Giants faces Barry Zito of the A’s.

According to oddsmakers from online sports book GT Bets, the Giants are -110 money line favorites over the A’s, who are +100 money line underdogs to win today’s game. With Hudson facing Zito in the pitching matchup, the total currently sits at 8.5 runs.

The Giants are 2-12 in their last 14 games versus the A’s in Oakland and have lost three straight. They’re also 2-6 in their last eight games during Game 2 of a series and 1-9 in their last 10 games versus left-handed starter.

San Francisco hasn’t fared well on the road of late either, losing seven of its last 26 away from AT&T Park. The Giants are also 9-23 in their last 32 interleague road games.
