MLB Trends: A’s just 3-14 in last 17 road games versus Giants

SAN FRANCISCO, CA (The Spread) – The A’s were pounded 9-3 by the Giants on Friday night, which only added to their woes in San Francisco of late.

With that loss, the A’s are now 3-14 in their last 17 games in San Francisco. They’re also winless at 0-4 in their last four interleague games versus a team with a winning record and as they get set to play the Giants again today (4:05PM ET), they’re 1-9 in their last 10 interleague games as an underdog of between +151 and +200.

According to oddsmakers from online sports book GT Bets, the Giants are -170 money line favorites versus the A’s, who are +155 money line underdogs for today’s game. Chris Bassitt will face ace Madison Bumgarner in the pitching matchup.

The Giants are 9-1 in their last 10 games overall and 7-1 in their last eight games as a favorite. They’re also 4-0 in their last four home games and 11-1 in their last 12 when their opponent allows five runs or more in their previous game.
