ST. LOUIS, MO (The Spread) – Division rivals square off in a crucial series this weekend when the Cardinals host the first-place Brewers.
According to oddsmakers from online sports book BetDSI, the Cardinals are -149 money line favorites over the Brewers, who are +137 money line road underdogs. The total for tonight’s 8:15PM ET start time is currently sitting at 7 runs.
Wily Peralta will draw the start for the Brewers while the Cardinals will counter with ace Adam Wainwright. Wainwright is 13-5 on the season with a miniscule 1.92 ERA and owns a 0.89 WHIP against Milwaukee while limiting the Brew Crew to a .199 batting average.

On the other side, the Brewers are 0-5 in Peralta’s last five road starts versus a team with a winning record and 2-5 in his last seven starts after scoring five runs or more in the team’s previous game. The Brewers are also 1-4 in their last five road games, 1-4 in their last five games as an underdog and 0-4 in their last four games versus a right-handed starter.
