(The Spread) – Which quarterback in tonight’s Monday Night Football game between the Colts and the Bucs will turn in the better performance?

Who will throw the first touchdown pass in the game: Painter or Bucs’ signal caller Josh Freeman? Unsurprisingly, Freeman is listed as a –225 money line favorite to win this prop, while Painter is +185 on the money line.

Which quarterback will throw the first interception of the game? Painter is –155 to throw the first pick while Freeman is +125. Also, which QB will have more completions by the end of the game? Freeman is –3 with –130 juice, while Painter is +3 with EVEN juice.
Freeman comes into the game with a 76.1 QB Rating and has thrown for 682 yards through three games. He also has two touchdowns, four interceptions and a completion percentage of 67.9. Tampa Bay has often had him throwing short, which is why his completion percentage is as high as it’s been throughout his three-year career.
Painter, meanwhile, has completed just 13 of his 39 career pass attempts for 143 yards, with two interceptions, two fumbles and zero touchdowns. His completion percentage of 33.3 is brutal and his career QB rating of 23.8 is even uglier. That said, he did complete 5-of-11 passes for 60 yards last Sunday night against a very good Pittsburgh defense so maybe he’ll start playing with a little confidence.
