The two worst teams in the NBA collide tonight in Philadelphia when the 76ers host the Nets at 7:00PM ET and look to end their 10-game losing streak.
According to oddsmakers from online sports book BetDSI, the Sixers are 3.5-point home underdogs versus the Nets after opening as a 3-point dog. The total, meanwhile, is sitting at 211.5 points after it opened at 212.
The majority of public bettors are betting against the Sixers again tonight
The Sixers have been a horrible bet of late but they have to win sometime so why not at home against an opponent that is nearly as bad as they are? Speaking of which, Philadelphia is 4-0 against the spread in its last four games versus a team with a winning percentage below .400 so the Sixers will be glad to see the Nets come to town tonight.
Somewhat ironically, Brooklyn has struggled against losing teams of late. The Nets have failed to cover the spread in seven of their last 10 games against an opponent with a winning percentage below .400 and are just 4-10-1 ATS in their last 15 games versus Eastern Conference opponents. They’ve also failed to cover in five of their last seven road games against a team with a losing home record.
