(The Spread) – Who will put up the better numbers tonight between the Cowboys’ Tony Romo and the Redskins’ Rex Grossman?
Oddsmakers have released player prop odds for the Monday Night Football battle tonight between the Cowboys and Redskins. Dallas is currently a 6.5-point favorite, although Tony Romo’s injury status could change that line dramatically.
How many total passing yards, touchdowns and interceptions will Grossman have tonight for the Redskins? The over/under for his passing yards is 265.5, while his o/u for touchdowns is 1.5 and o/u for interceptions is 0.5.
In two games this season, Grossman has thrown for 596 yards and four touchdown passes and is coming off a two-interception game against the Cardinals. He both wins this season, he’s thrown two touchdown passes apiece. (Two versus the Giants in Week 1 and two last Sunday at home against the Cardinals). This will be Grossman’s first road test.

Assuming he even plays, how many yards, touchdowns and interceptions will Tony Romo compile tonight? His over/under for yards is 265.5, while his touchdowns o/u is 1.5 and his interception total is 0.5, which are the same numbers as Grossman’s.
Romo has thrown for 687 yards with four touchdowns and four interceptions so far this season. He’s questionable for tonight’s game after breaking a rib and suffering a punctured lung against the 49ers last Sunday. He’s expected to play but he could be severely limited.
Finally, who will throw the first touchdown pass, interception and compile more completions in the game tonight between Romo and Grossman? Romo is favored in the touchdown category, -150 to +120, while Grossman is “favored” to throw more interceptions, -175 to +145. The competition prop is currently a “Pick” between Romo and Grossman, with –115 juice.
