NFL Wild Card Playoffs Injury Update: Bell misses practice Thursday

LAS VEGAS, NV (The Spread) – With the Wild Card round of the NFL playoffs set to kick off on Saturday, here’s an update on some of the key injuries surrounding the four matchups.

In Pittsburgh, Steelers running back Le’Veon Bell missed practice on Thursday, one day after saying that his knee felt great. While it’s still possible that he’ll be active for the team’s game on Saturday night against the Ravens, it’s doubtful Bell will be anywhere close to 100-percent.

In Arizona quarterback Drew Stanton has been ruled out for the Cardinals’ Wild Card matchup with the Panthers on Saturday. Stanton never really had a chance of playing against Carolina due to a knee injury and thus, Ryan Lindley will make another start for Bruce Arians’ banged up club.

Finally, Bengals receiver A.J. Green was limited in practice on Thursday as he continues to rebound from a concussion suffered last Sunday versus the Steelers. While he should play on Sunday, Green is also battling a bicep injury and could be limited.

According to oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv, the Panthers are 6.5-point home favorites over the Cardinals while the Steelers are 3-point home favorites against the Ravens. The Colts are also a 3.5-point home favorite versus the Bengals while the Cowboys are 6.5-point home favorites versus the Lions.
