There was initial concern that Stewart re-injured his sprained foot but Rivera confirmed that it was the running back’s ankle that affected on Sunday. Despite having his ankle rolled up on, Stewart still managed 19 carries for 106 yards and two touchdowns in Carolina’s 31-24 victory over Seattle.

The Panthers will now host the Cardinals at 6:40PM ET in the NFC Championship Game on Sunday. According to oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv, Carolina is currently a 3-point home favorite versus Arizona for this weekend’s matchup. The total currently sits at 47 points.

The home team is a perfect 4-0 against the spread in the last four meetings between these two teams, with the latest matchup coming during Wild Card Weekend last year. In that game, the Panthers defeated the Cardinals 27-16 as a 5.5-point favorite.
