Penguins 19-7 in last 26 games vs. Panthers, who are struggling

The Panthers have had their struggles of late and their path to getting back on track might be delayed even more given their recent history versus tonight’s opponent.

View Tonight’s NHL Odds

Oddsmakers from online sports book BetDSI currently list the Panthers as +106 money line home underdogs for their game tonight against the Penguins at 7:30PM ET. Pittsburgh, meanwhile, is a -126 money line favorite and the over/under currently sits at 5 goals.

The Panthers have lost four of their last five games and for whatever reason, they’ve struggled to win on Mondays, going 21-46 in their last 67 games on this day. They’re also just 2-5 in their last seven games after scoring two goals or less in their previous contest.

Things don’t figure to get any better for Florida tonight. The Panthers host a Penguins team that has owned them in previous meetings, as Pittsburgh has won 19 of the last 26 games between these two squads. The Pens are also 7-2 over their last nine games and are 6-2 in their last eight games versus Eastern Conference foes.
