Rams only slight underdogs vs. Ravens with Case Keenum set to start at QB

The Rams made a switch at quarterback earlier this week, benching Nick Foles in favor of Case Keenum, who will make his first start of 2015 against the Ravens this Sunday.

Foles had struggled mightily to move the St. Louis offense despite having potential rookie of the year candidate Todd Gurley at running back. Foles had thrown for 200 yards or more only twice in nine games and struggled with both his accuracy and decision making. His 17-for-36, 200-yard performance last Sunday versus the Bears was the tipping point for a Rams coaching staff that decided to bench him on Monday.

Keenum has only made 10 starts in his career, all of which came as a member of the Houston Texans. He completed 45-of-77 passes for 435 yards with two touchdowns and two interceptions in his two starts for the Texans last season. He helped engineer a win over the Ravens in Week 16 of last year and the Rams are hoping he can duplicate that success on Sunday.

Baltimore is listed as a 2.5-point home favorite over St. Louis according to oddsmamkers from online sports book BetDSI. The Ravens opened as a 1-point favorite but the line has been climbing over the past 24 hours. The total currently sits at 41.5 after opening at 43.
