ODDS: According to oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv, Oregon is a 2.5-point favorite over UCLA while the over/under for today’s game is currently sitting at 69 points. Of the current wagers placed on today’s game, 67% of the betting public currently favors the Ducks.
LINE MOVEMENT: The Ducks opened as 3-point favorites but the spread has dropped below the key number at most online and Vegas sports books and is now 2.5. As for the total, it opened at 68 before being bumped up slightly 69.
SEASON RECORDS: Oregon and UCLA both enter today’s game with identical 4-1 records straight up and brutal 1-4 record against the spread, respectively. They even share the same over/under at 2-3, respectively.
NCAA FREE PICK: Take Oregon. According to latest college football trends, the Ducks are 4-1 against the spread in their last five road games versus UCLA and 11-2 ATS in their last 13 games on grass. They’re also 10-2 ATS in their last 12 road games versus a team with a winning home record, 13-4 ATS in their last 17 road games and 19-6-1 ATS in their last 26 games in October. The Bruins, meanwhile, are jus 1-4 against the number in their last five games overall and 5-17 ATS in their last 22 games in October. While Oregon has had similar protection issues, UCLA has had a hell of a time protecting Brett Hundley, who was sacked a whopping 10 times versus Utah last week. He’s been treated like a piñata this season and we don’t see that trend reversing today against a Ducks team that hasn’t lost back-to-back games in seven years.
