The 2014 ALCS has the Baltimore Orioles facing the Kansas City Royals. The Orioles have home-field advantage for the series. According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, Baltimore is the favorite to win this series, as the Orioles are getting a money line of -145 to win, while the Royals have odds of +125 to prevail. Baltimore advanced to the ALCS by sweeping the Detroit Tigers while the Royals swept the top-seeded Los Angeles Angels.

The Orioles are now 99-66 overall, 52-31 at home and 47-35 on the road. Kansas City is 93-73 overall, 49-34 on the road and 44-39 at home. These two teams met seven times during the regular season, with Kansas City winning four of the seven games.
