The first game of the day has the Detroit Tigers hosting the Baltimore Orioles at 3:35PM ET (View Matchup). The Orioles will have Bud Norris on the mound to face David Price of the Tigers. According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, the Tigers are favored to win Game 3, as they have odds of -180 to prevail. The Orioles have been given a money line of +170 to win, while the over/under total has been set at 7.5 runs. The Orioles hold a 2-0 lead in this series thanks to a 7-6 lead in Game 2. The Orioles posted four runs in the eighth inning on the Detroit bullpen to get the win. Baltimore has scored 12 runs in the eighth inning in this series. Baltimore has still only won three of eight meetings this year with Detroit. The two have hit the over in six of their last nine overall meetings.

The other game today has the Kansas City Royals hosting the Los Angeles Angels at 7:30PM ET (View Matchup). The Royals have James Shields on the mound to face C.J. Wilson of the Angels. Oddsmakers have the Royals favored at home, as they have odds of -130 to win, while the Angels have been given a money line of +120 to prevail. The over/under total for the game has been set at 7 runs. The Royals are on the verge of a very improbable sweep, as they have a 2-0 lead in the series following a pair of extra-inning wins in Los Angeles, including a 4-1 win in Game 2 in 11 innings. The Royals bullpen threw four innings of one-hit ball with no runs allowed. Eric Hosmer had a two-run home run in the 11th to break the game open. Kansas City has won three straight over Los Angeles and the two have hit the under in three of their last four meetings.
