Saturday’s NLDS Game 2 Odds

The first game of the day has the Washington Nationals hosting the San Francisco Giants at 5:30PM ET (View Matchup). The Nationals will have Jordan Zimmerman on the mound to face Tim Hudson of the Giants. According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, the National are favored at home, as they have odds of -210 to win Game 2, while the Giants have been given a money line of +190 to prevail. The over/under total for the game has been set at 7 runs. The Giants picked up a 3-2 win in Game 1 of this series thanks to solid pitching from Jake Peavy, who threw 5.2 innings of scoreless ball. The Giants racked up 12 hits in the win, producing three runs, while the Nationals were held to six hits. The Giants have now won three of their last five against the Nationals.
The other game today has the Los Angeles Dodgers hosting the St. Louis Cardinals at 9:30PM ET (View Matchup). The Cardinals have Lance Lynn on the mound to face Zack Greinke of the Dodgers. Oddsmakers have the Dodgers favored at home in Game 2, as they are getting odds of -165 to win, while the Cardinals are getting odds of +155 to prevail. The over/under total for the game has been set at 7 runs. The Cardinals won Game 1 in surprising fashion, 10-9. St. Louis fell behind 6-1 to the Dodgers, who had Clayton Kershaw on the mound. The Cardinals piled on eight runs in the seventh, seven of which went to Kershaw. Matt Carpenter drove in four on Friday while Matt Holliday had three RBI. The Cardinals have won three of their last four against the Dodgers.
