Busch wins Bank of America Pole
CONCORD, NC (TheSpread) – Kyle Busch took the pole for the Bank of America 500 on Thursday and he will start up front for Saturday’s NASCAR race.
According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, Kevin Harvick is the lone favorite to win now, as he has odds of 4/1. Other short odds to win are Jeff Gordon (5/1), Brad Keselowski (13/2) and Jimmie Johnson (15/2).
Harvick is sixth in the standings, 15 points out of first place. He has two wins and 10 top 5s on the year. Harvick has two wins at Charlotte with four top 5s. His average finish at the track is 16.3, while his driver rating there is 81.5, which ranks 15th amongst current drivers. Harvick qualified seventh for this race.

Johnson is 12th in the point standings, 44 points out of first. He has three wins and 10 tops 5s this year. Johnson is a seven-time winner at Charlotte. His average finish there is 11.2, while his driver rating 112.7, which is best of any driver competing. Johnson will start from the 21st position.
